You are invited to join us alongside the St. Paisios Brotherhood and Fr. John Thetford of St. Matthew Orthodox Church for services and work over the long holiday weekend. Stay the whole weekend or drop by for a few hours to help Saint Paul's Monastery.

Friday, January 17, 2026 ARRIVALS
Guests are invited to arrive anytime on Friday (or early on Saturday )
6:00am Orthros in chapel
12:00pm Lunch in trapeza (with readings)
5:00pm Vespers in chapel
The Monastery is located in Crawford County, WI about 1.5 hours from Madison, 3.5 hours from Milwaukee, 3.25 hours from Chicago, 3.25 hours from Minneapolis-Saint Paul, and 2.75 hours from Cedar Rapids.
Saturday, January 18, 2026 WORK DAY
6:00am Orthros in church
12:00pm Lunch in trapeza (with readings)
5:00pm Vespers in church
We will be focusing on setting up the interior of our new two-story (heated) workshop and other chores including moving equipment and supplies between buildings.
Sunday, January 19, 2026 WORK DAY
6:00am Orthros in church
12:00pm Lunch in trapeza (with readings)
1:30pm (or TBD) Informal Q&A
5:00pm Festal Vespers in chapel

Monday, January 20, 2026 HOLY THEOPHANY (MLK Day is a federal holiday)

8:00am Divine Liturgy
