Concrete is Poured. Volunteer to Serve!
Two weeks ago, we poured the floor for our new workshop. This space will provide a more organized and efficient place for icon production, a dedicated area for carpentry equipment so that we can broaden our production horizons, and (at long last!) a garage where we can tend to our vehicles in the winter. Just as importantly, it will allow us to remove 9 or 10 dilapidated mobile homes that cost a fortune to heat.
The challenge is that every hour we work on construction is an hour we're not able to devote to our many other responsibilities, like icon production. And we don't want to slow down your orders.
So we would be grateful for any and all help: framing, plumbing, electrical, and plenty of lifting and moving all kinds of stuff. We need to move quickly, not only to beat the winter, but also to improve our efficiency before the Christmas rush. Of course, financial assistance would also be deeply appreciated especially now, because we have been putting everything we have into this restoration project.
It is truly a miracle that we have, with your help, come this far. For me personally, after more than three years of making do without a proper workshop, this project is a great blessing. We are tantalizingly close to achieving this major goal.
May God bless you abundantly: both here and in the world to come!
With Love in Christ,
Father Menas, Superior
And all the Brotherhood
