November 2023 Letter From Father Menas

Dear Friends,

We are entering the cooler Fall and Winter months here at Saint Paul’s Monastery. I am overwhelmed and humbled by the generous outpouring of support we have received. Your contributions are a cornerstone in the success of our community.

Please know that with every gift entrusted to us, I am committed to do the best I can to make the most of what was given. In practical terms, we are working hard to get a building up to house guest rooms and a space for equipment. Plus, we're on a mission to get rid of mobile homes on the property as soon as possible. They've served their purpose (more or less), but it's long past time for them to roll away.

Over the Summer, we were graced with the presence of numerous pilgrims and visitors to our monastery. We also had the ability to produce, package, and ship a multitude of high-quality icons to homes and churches across America. As the Nativity season draws near, we invite you to place your icon orders early to ensure their arrival in good time.

Here’s to the enduring support that keeps the monastery going. We are making progress every day, and your help remains the key to our success. Your generosity fuels our life of prayer and joins you to this holy work: building a flourishing English language monastery in the lineage of Elder Ephraim and Saint Joseph the Hesychast.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Father Menas

Superior of Saint Paul's Monastery
