Glorify Him!
December 23rd. I am packing an icon order. Before I close the box, I put in the little leaflet that tells about our new building. I mention to my helper, "I can well imagine some people getting this, seeing the photo of the current status and the idyllic watercolor of our hopefully soon usable building, and saying, 'Oh. So they're building a barn: big deal."
> But then I thought of the couple who were so grateful to have a barn to shelter them, where the Virgin Mother could give birth to the King of all. How palatial this building is by comparison to that little cave! And how grateful we are to be able, with the help of so many kind people, to build it, so that many may come here and find shelter, from the troubles of the world as well as the elements.
We pray that you and all of us will learn to open the cave of our hearts to that Babe and prepare a place fitting for Him to rest, so that we may find rest with Him forever.
